n1. Full charge of the mask controller

The LED mask works using a controller equipped with a lithium-ion polymer battery. Before starting to use, the controller must be fully charged (with the mask detached from it), by connecting the included USB-C cable to the controller and connecting the adapter to a suitable power outlet (2 or 3 pins). The indicator lights on the controller will start flashing to indicate that charging has started. The battery is defined as full when all three indicator lights are on permanently. Please note: the mask does not work while charging. If you try to turn on the LightMAX Supercharged 2.0 mask while charging, it will not turn on.

n2. Installing the mask

An adjustable velcro strap secures the mask comfortably behind the head. To fit the mask, thread the straps through the openings on the sides, fit around the head and tighten securely. Adjustments can be made as needed.

3. The controller

The mask connects to the controller via a USB-A connection. The controller supplies the electricity to the LED lights and allows full control over their operation. It has two activation buttons to choose between acne treatment mode and anti-aging mode.

• The flat button activates the anti-aging mode - the mask lights up with a red light. The slightly protruding button activates the acne treatment mode - the mask lights up with a purple light.

The 10-minute timer indicates the time remaining for each treatment, and the mask turns off automatically at the end of the session. The controller includes a display screen and three indicator lights showing the battery level.

4. The treatment process

1. Cleanse the face thoroughly to remove make-up and SPF residues
2. Place the mask on the face and secure with the two velcro straps
3. Connect the mask to the controller (make sure the controller is unplugged)
4. Choose the desired treatment mode and turn on the controller by long pressing the mode button
5. The device will stop working automatically after 10 minutes. You can stop at any moment by pressing ON/OFF
6. Remove the mask and continue with your skincare routine
7. Clean the mask with a water-based wipe or a clean damp cloth. Stubborn stains can be gently removed with 70% alcohol. Important: Do not clean the mask while charging
   
   

Contraindications

• Do not share the mask with others - intended for personal use only
  
• Do not use the mask for medical conditions that are not specified in the instructions - it has not been tested for other conditions
  
• Do not use a mask if you are pregnant / planning a pregnancy / breastfeeding - it has not been tested for these populations
  
• Do not use if you are under 14 years old - safety has not been tested for this age
  
• Do not use if you suffer from light-induced headaches
  
• Do not use if you have genetic eye diseases - consult an ophthalmologist if necessary
  
• Do not use if you have light sensitivity (photosensitivity) in your eyes
  
• Do not use if you suffer from lupus, photosensitive eczema or albinism - may cause serious skin reactions
  

Photosensitivity can also be caused by various substances and certain medications, for example:

• Hypericum (St. John's Wort)
  Coal tar
• Antibacterial soaps
• Deodorants
• artificial sweeteners
• Naphthalene (moth balls)
  petroleum products
  Bleaching agents in washing powders
  Cadmium sulfide (used in tattoos)

LED mask: Silicone

Head strap: Polyester, nylon and lycra. If you are allergic to one of these substances, it is recommended to consult your doctor before using the headband.
